- Eat a healthy, balanced diet and try to be active every day
- If you drink alcohol aim to have several alcohol free days a week and men and women should drink no more than 14 units per week.
- Have regular meals.
- Eat 5 portions of fruit and veg a day
- Cut down on fat, especially saturated fat.
- Have some meat free days ( why not have fish instead.. but we don’t mean the battered type)
- Speak to your Doctor before doing any new exercise but once you have, choose something you enjoy, build up steadily and set yourself targets.
- Don’t be afraid to rest.
